Patagonia:  trek through torres del paine national park

Torres Del Paine is one of Chile’s most prestigious national parks. It is located in southern Chilean Patagonia and is known for its jagged mountains, massive glaciers, and bright blue waters. The “torres” themselves are three distinct granite peaks that mark the center of the park.

Each trek offers a slightly different itinerary.  Students fly into to Punta Arenas and then drive into the park to begin their adventures.  Multi-day loops through the park allow for beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.  Boating, kayaking, and mountain biking are also included in the day to day activities surrounding your time in the region.  This is a fully outfitted and professionally guided trip.  You will be responsible for proper dress attire and an appropriate hiking pack.  However, camping equipment and meals are provided in this experience.  Suggested packing list is supplied to students.
